What was salesgenie.com thinking when it created a commercial featuring pandas with horrible Asian accents.  To make matters worse, they had 2nd commercial during the Super Bowl where a an Indian guy is getting yelled as by his boss.

I cannot believe these 2 commercials were allowed to be aired by FOX just because a company is willing to pay the outrageous 2 million dollars to air a 30-second commercial.   Salesgenie.com are racists!

Michael Chang was elected to the Tennis Hall of Fame.  Well deserved! Chang is still the youngest male player to ever win a Grand Slam title at the age of 17 when he won the 1989 French Open.

Chang was an exciting player to watch.  What Chang did not have in physical stature, he made up in exceptional speed and an incredible heart.  Who can forget Chang’s miraculous run in the 1989 French Open defeating Ivan Lendl in a dramatic five-set semifinal where he battled cramps and his win against Stefan Edberg in the finals.

UCLA Football is back.  To go along with the hiring of Slick Rick Neuheisel, UCLA has just hired offensive guru and former USC and Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator, Norm Chow to run their offense.  What high school QB would not want to play in an offense run by Norm Chow?   Chow has coach three Heisman Trophy QBs during his career and shown that he can run an explosive offense in both college and in the NFL.  If you can make Vince Young look like a good QB, then you are a very very good offensive coordinator who can turn any average QB into a great one.

The Tennessee Titans fired their offensive coordinator, Norm Chow.

This is a big mistake by the Titans and I am appalled by this move.  The problem is not Norm Chow, its Vince Young.  Titans should have gotten rid of Vince Young.  It took Brett Favre nearly 6 years before he became the hall of fame QB he is today learning from offensive genius Mike Holmgren.  Young is not capable of mastering an NFL offense nor does he throw well enough to be a superstar QB in the NFL and lead his team to a Super Bowl.   Young is a Michael Vick, but not as good.  Strong inaccurate arm, runs very well, but cannot effectively throw the ball well in the pocket.  Young could have definitely used a few more years of good guidance from someone like Norm Chow who has a proven record of developing great NFL QBs.

Young made great strides this past season leading the Titans to a 10-6 record and earning a wild card spot in the playoffs.  What was the problem?  The offense got the job done when it needed to.

Jeff Fisher is one of the best coaches in the NFL, but he got it wrong this time.  Good luck finding another offensive coordinator that can help nurture Vince Young, because it ain’t gonna happen.  The Titans and Vince Young are heading back to NFL mediocrity.
